Welcome!
I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. I am currently teaching Social Psychology, Scientific Literacy, and Research Methods. I have also taught General Psychology, Applied Statistics, Introduction to Psychological Science, Positive Psychology, Personality Psychology, and First Year Seminar. I am interested in how people's beliefs about the controllability of their actions affect their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My research program is centered around two primary themes: the study of self-regulation and the behavioral consequences of a belief in free will.
